SMWS 73.60 Watching the Monaco Grand Prix from a Rooftop Terrace
Over the last couple of months life has been busy and i've not been updating this blog as often as i would have liked, you should find some more post coming more regularly over the coming weeks.
This particular dram came courtesy of my good friend Steven Carrie (@steven_Carrie) who purchased this bottle of 73.60 Watching the Monaco Grand Prix from a Rooftop Terrace as he was going to the Monaco Grand Prix with his Dad in May 2014.
An absolutely spanking dram this really is a cracker with loads of fruity flavours and hints of spice, one i would most definitely recommend.
Thanks to Steven Carrie (@steven_Carrie) for the dram and the The Scotch Malt Whisky Society for bottling another beauty.
Initially there's a hint of pleasant rubberyness, almost tarmac like, with lots of fruit basket notes, oranges, apples, banana skins, pears and a hints of waxy lemon skins, some cinnamon sticks and a touch of oats in there also
This is a big powerful dram, lots of sweetness in here with fruityness and
lovely and sweet with gentle oats and maltyness.
