SMWS 46.22 An Italian Kitchen
The Second dram of the night on the #SMWSblind at the The Scotch Malt Whisky Society in London organised by Joe McGirr (@smwslondon) and hosted by John McCheyne (@SMWSAmbassador) was this 46.22 An Italian Kitchen.
So different to the first dram but so interesting to try, the nose and palate don't seem to match but thats not a bad thing as this dram just becomes more intriguing becase of that.
Many thanks to Joe McGirr (@smwslondon) and John (@SMWSAmbassador) and to the The Scotch Malt Whisky Society for their kind hospitality and for some truely wonderful whiskies.
Initially i'm hit with some acetone, notes of dulux emulsion paint and poster paints before some sour like fruits like starfruit and pineapple begin to come through but not in a bad way
The palate is way different to the nose, it's grassy and sort and sweet with a gentle creamyness and is very fruity
Creamy, grassy and very fresh
