I'm a big fan of Ardbeg distillery, Ardbeg 10 year was the first 'heavily' peated whisky I had tried many moons ago (well I thought it was the smokiest thing I had ever tasted at that point) so Ardbeg holds a special place in my heart.
Woodford Reserve Kentucky Straight Rye
We use Woodford Reserve Straight Rye as our house pour rye for the last year or so, it’s got a decent back bone and stands up in classic rye based cocktails, but I have never got really into it in depth straight up as I always use it for mixing, so this should be interesting.
As a brand Few are extremely trendy, with cool branding and a great backstory.

There are many independent bottlings of Mortlach, and this one from Ian MacLeods Chieftains Choice range is a delicious 17 year old finished in Pedro Ximinez casks.

Another Bunnahabhain from Gordon and MacPhails wood makes the whisky campaign this expression is a 2006 non pleated dram from The MacPhails Collection.
